Conversion from Windows
I am trying to update company info in Pro for Mac 2007 with data converted from Windows. The directions say to choose File>Open Company but when I click on File, I can’t select Open Company. Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Thanks.

Are you converting from Windows version 2007 to Mac version 2007? In order to successfully convert and open a company file, you will need to open that company file in the same year version of QuickBooks you are converting from. I recommend backing up your windows 2007 company data file, converting it, and then opening it in your Mac version of QuickBooks 2007.

LikeDislikeThank you for the help. Unfortunately, I am trying to convert from a 2010 Windows to a 2007 Mac version. When I insert the CD in the Mac, it sounds like it is transferring the data but I can’t find it anywhere and I still can’t click on Open Company. I guess I’ll just manually enter opening balances from the Windows version and go from there. Thanks again for your help.
