What’s the name of the best web design software to use to set up a Intuit quickbook online store?
I am wanting to hire someone to build my eCommerce website and I know that I want it to have a integrated shopping cart that using Intuit for my quick books but I don’t know what that software is. I do know that Quick books offers website services on their Intuit.com, however, I don’t want to use a online web design provider, I want a real live person who I can meet with face to face here in Portland Oregon. While Intuit.com does offer turnkey website design and website hosting, they are very basic “cookie cutter” websites that lack customization and the ability to create a unique web presence. We do not recommend using Intuit or their Homestead website builder for building an original eCommerce website.
When it comes to web design software, you have a wide variety of options, but we prefer using a combination of a Content Management System with graphic design software. Out of the wide variety of choices we highly recommend and only use WordPress and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator. WordPress is a free platform that allows users to tie their website to a database and easily manage all of their content, while Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are commercial programs that allow an experienced graphic designer to create custom graphics and images for the design of the website.
You mention the need to set up an Intuit online store with eCommerce capabilities. This is not too difficult to implement, but it is harder for us to recommend a specific shopping cart platform. There are literally hundreds of eCommerce shopping cart options and many of them can directly integrate with QuickBooks, such as X-Cart, Miva Merchant, and PDG (just to name a few). Choosing the right eCommerce solution can be difficult, and is dependent on your specific needs and budget.
