   The QuickBooks Expert says:

   Mickey,

   To find your license number for a downloaded version of QuickBooks, look in the purchase confirmation email you originally received from Intuit. To find your license number for QuickBooks on CD, look for the a bright colored sticker on the original CD envelope.
   If you have previously registered your QuickBooks software, you can get help finding your license number with Intuit’s License and Key Code Lookup tool at http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/LicenseNumber/Default.aspx
   If you have not previously registered your new edition of QuickBooks, you may need to contact Intuit’s customer service. If this is the case, be ready to provide your order number from the packing slip.
